Meet the Players

Jason Eddy

Actor

Jason is a British actor who originally hails from Bermuda. He has worked extensively in theatre and has appeared in a number of short films and TV series, including, most recently, Wanderlust with Toni Collette. Jason is a veteran of many pantos from his childhood.

Stephen Dransfield

Actor

Stephen is a Baltimore/D.C native who received his BFA in Musical Theatre from Shenandoah Conservatory in 2019 before moving to New York. He is an actor, director and collaborator who loves to create new works for the stage and for the screen. 

Laura Fois

Actor

An experienced theater actor and producer, Laura has appeared in many Off-Broadway productions and directed and produced multiple theatre pieces as Managing Director and founding member of UP Theater in Upper Manhattan. Laura’s background includes extensive children’s theater experience.

Damien Hughes

Actor

Damien is a successful TV and stage actor from the UK and has also done extensive work in TV commercials. He is originally from Glasgow in Scotland, where he saw many Pantos as a child, but is now a resident of Brooklyn.

Kira Jackson

Actor

Kira recently graduated from the Shenandoah Conservatory in Virginia with a BFA in acting, where she developed a number of roles for theatre and TV. Kira’s father is British and she distinctly remembers the year her grandma took her to see a panto version of The Wizard of Oz.

Summer Strallen

CREATIVE Director

Summer is a four-time Olivier-Award nominated stage and screen actress who performed in her first Panto at the age of three and in countless others throughout her career.

Liz Law

Founder / Producer

Liz has a degree in theater arts and a lifelong love of theater. Having experienced the thrill of Panto first-hand while traveling in England, she was inspired to bring the style home to American families. PantoPlay is a true passion project, combining Liz’s fascinations with England, history and the arts.

Jo Brannan

Producer / Educational Consultant

Jo brings more than a decade of experience as a writer, producer and teacher. Originally from England, she grew up with Panto and is delighted to have a hand in bringing the tradition to New York and beyond.
